Luke Bryan Concert

Hi friends!

Whew, there’s a lot to catch up on..lets get started 🙂

Well this weekend was as busy and as wonderful as I had hoped. I woke up early Saturday to get in a quick full body HIIT workout before we headed to Bismarck for the day. It was the first day of the 30 day challenge I am following and it was the perfect way to start a wonderful day! This is the workout I did Saturday, I repeated it twice.

My good friend and I had a much needed girls-day-out shopping in Bismark and discovering new boutiques until the concert began. We both bought new ‘country’ outfits so we wouldn’t look like such city girls in a sea of true country folks.

It was exactly what both of us needed, and the best part of the weekend was yet to come!

I could write an essay on how amazing the Luke Bryan concert was, just know, it was incredible. My friend and I found a balcony where we spent the whole night dancing and singing along to all songs together, we both had blisters from our boots the next morning! We listened to Luke Bryan songs for the two hour drive home and wished we could rewind the evening and enjoy it all over again.

Sunday was spent catching up on sleep, spending time with the pup, preparing for this week, and doing all of the chores I had neglected the past week. Occasionally I’ll cranking up the heat as high as it will go before practicing my yoga. Seeing as there are no hot yoga studios in this state, its like having my own hot yoga studio in my living room. It was such a relaxing way to round out the weekend! (This only works for me because my apartment is so tiny-blessing and a curse!)

Last night I made an amazing pasta primavera with salmon, which I also enjoyed for lunch today. I combined whole wheat thin spaghetti with onion, garlic, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, arugula, and topped it all off with pan friend salmon.

I was delicious!

Today was a typical Monday, busy from the moment I sat down at my desk until the moment I forced myself to leave an hour later then planned. I had workouts from both the 30 day challenge and the 12 week program waiting for me this evening, both ended up being leg heavy and boy do my glutes feel it! Lilly somehow ended up with coconut oil ALL over her face and was one seriously oily pup so an impromptu Monday night bath was in order. Afterward, I whipped up a chicken salad plopped on the couch to enjoy an episode of scandal before bed.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Have a happy Tuesday!

Whats the best concert you have ever been to?
