Healthy Iced Vanilla Latte

Today is off to an absolutely wonderful start so far!

I have been having serious Dutch Bro’s and Starbucks withdrawals living here so I have been forced to make my own fancy coffee drinks.
During the holidays I made an amazing crockpot Pumpkin Spice Latte, I could drink this year round it was so good!

This morning I decided to attempt a healthier version of my all-time favorite Iced Vanilla Late and it was such a success!

I was so pleased with the results I was trying to force feed it to Derrick regardless of the fact he was about to go to bed for the day.

Seriously, so yummy!

It was super simple, there are not many ingredients, and considering it was just an experiment the taste is nearly spot on 

I hope this recipe will provide you with as much joy in you morning cup-o-jo as it did for me!

 

 

Healthy Iced Vanilla Latte

Ingredientsimage

2 C Ice
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
2 TBS Instant Coffee (Nescaffe)
1 C Vanilla Almond Milk

Directions

In a blender place the ice cubes, vanilla protein powder, almond milk, vanilla extract, and instant coffee. Blend until smooth and a nice Carmel color.

If you would like this to be more like a Frappuccino you can add more ice cubes. I prefer it to be an iced drink so it turned out on the smoother side and I added ice with a straw.
If you do not have instant coffee youu can use a cup of brewed coffee, caffeinated or decalf, and adjust the other ingredients to taste!
