Well, I am finally feeling like myself again 🙂
Today was a typical busy Monday at work, but that’s OK.
I tried not to stress too much, I walked away when I needed to, and when I left the office I left the my work behind.
I decided to make this Monday feel like a Saturday.
I wrote up a back and ab workout that I had planned on doing at the gym, but apparently everyone in town had the same idea this evening and the gym was way too packed.
I couldn’t even find a parking space!
So I headed home, changed clothes, pulled out my weights and resistance bands and got to work!
I love working out at home sometimes, but the dogs make it almost impossible to not stop and play with them!
As in, climb on my back while I am trying to do superman’s or sit on my stomach during V-ups impossible..
But I am finally feeling strong and confident and motivated to get back to work in the gym!
I made a huge batch of baked spaghetti squash for lunches for the week and dinners lately have been anything Derrick feels like throwing on the barbeque.
Which is awesome to come home to, by the way!
Derrick leaves in the morning to go back to work [early unfortunately] so we will spend the rest of the evening packing his stuff and prepping his meals for the next month.
It’s always hard to say goodbye, but I am already looking forward to our next hello 🙂
